How can we help?
Find answers about mood-based planning, your data, and your subscription. Everything below is written by humans — and if you still need a hand, a real person is one message away.
How does mood-based planning work?
Before Moodora suggests anything, it asks how you actually feel — wired and curious, or tired and craving quiet. From that mood and your energy level it shapes the pace of your days: how many stops, how much downtime, how early the mornings start. Two people can ask for the same city and get two very different trips, because the trip is built around you, not a generic checklist.
Can I plan a trip without knowing where to go?
Yes — this is one of the gentlest ways to start. Tell us the feeling you are chasing (slow and restorative, sunny and social, somewhere green and quiet) and roughly when and how far you can travel. Moodora suggests a handful of destinations that match the mood, with a sentence on why each one fits. Pick the one that makes you exhale, and we plan from there.
Do I need to create an account to start?
No. You can open the app and plan your first trip without signing up. An account is only there if you want to keep your trips across devices or restore them later — and even then, your itineraries stay on your device. Nothing about planning is gated behind a login.
How do I change my trip after it is generated?
Every itinerary is a starting point, never a verdict. Tap any day to swap an activity, slow the pace, add a rest morning, or remove anything that does not feel right. You can also tell Moodora in plain words — "make day three lighter" or "more food, fewer museums" — and it reshapes the plan while keeping the parts you loved.
How accurate are the AI itineraries?
We aim for plans that feel realistic, not exhausting — sensible travel times, room to breathe between stops, and openings that line up with the day. AI can still get a detail wrong, so we show our reasoning and make every suggestion easy to adjust. Think of it as a thoughtful first draft from a friend who has been there, not an unchangeable schedule.
Can I plan a trip for more than one person?
Yes. You can tell Moodora who is coming along — a partner who needs slow mornings, a friend with boundless energy, kids who fade by mid-afternoon — and it balances the days so everyone gets something that fits. The goal is a trip that feels good for the whole group, not just the loudest planner.
Is my data really only on my device?
Yes. Moodora is built privacy-first, so your moods, trips, and notes live on your device by default. The planning intelligence runs on-device wherever it can, which means your most personal inputs — how you are feeling, who you travel with — do not need to leave your phone for the app to work.
Does Moodora sell or share my information?
Never. We do not sell your data, and we do not trade it to advertisers. There is no hidden profile being built about you in the background. The app earns its keep through Pro subscriptions, not by turning your travel dreams into something to monetise.
What happens to my trips if I delete the app?
Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes your local trips too. If you want a safety net, you can back up or sync your trips before deleting, and restore them later. We will always make it clear what is stored locally versus anything you have chosen to back up.
What is included in Pro?
The free version covers real planning — moods, destinations, and full itineraries. Pro is for travellers who plan often: unlimited trips, deeper personalisation, richer day-by-day refinements, and priority support. It is EUR 8 per month, and you can travel beautifully on the free tier for as long as you like.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancelling is quick and guilt-free. Manage your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings, where you can turn off renewal in a couple of taps. You keep Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your trips stay exactly where they are.
Does Moodora work offline?
Once a trip is generated, you can view your itinerary offline — handy on a plane, a train, or anywhere the signal disappears. Some actions, like generating a brand-new plan, work best with a connection, but the days you have already planned travel with you whether or not you are online.
Which platforms is it on?
Moodora is available for iPhone and Android, with the same calm, mood-first experience on both. Whichever you carry, the app feels at home on your phone and keeps your trips close.
How do I reach support?
A real person reads every message. Head to our contact page and tell us what is going on — a confusing trip, a billing question, or just an idea you wish the app had. We answer kindly and quickly, and Pro travellers get priority replies.
Still need help?
If you did not find what you were looking for, tell us what is on your mind. We read every message, and we would love to make your next trip a little easier.
